Diane Casey Luong Visits Dudley and Webster Fire Dept.

Re-posted from the Webster Times, May 3, 2024
It was a fun-filled week of hosting a “lunch and learn” opportunity for Homes for Heroes affiliate agent Diane Casey-Luong and her team. While Casey-Luong is a top producer at RE/MAX Vision, she was also recently
named the Number One affiliate agent in Massachusetts for the Homes for the Heroes Program and was also recognized as the Number Nine agent in the country.
Homes for Heroes
Homes for Heroes is a nationwide real estate incentive program that rewards individuals who work in the
following occupational categories: Healthcare, Teachers, Fire/EMS, Law Enforcement, and Military/Veterans. Recipients receive a cash reward of 25 percent of the commission during the buying, selling, and/or refinancing of their property. In the last four years, Diane has rewarded her hero clients with nearly $188,000 and has dedicated her career to working tirelessly to support this program.
As a thank you to local heroes, Casey-Luong visited the Dudley Fire Department this week and hosted a “cookout and learn” for firefighters, EMS, and police. Captain Erik Spahl of Dudley Fire graciously offered up his culinary skills and cooked a delicious spread that was provided by Diane.
While staff were enjoying their lunch, she was able to educate staff about the program and spend time hearing their on-the-job stories, which is ultimately what fuels her passion for the program. Rebecca Hendrix, a Loan Officer at MBA Mortgage, and an affiliate lender of Homes for Heroes, also participated and was able to talk about the lending side of the home-buying process.
Later in the week, Casey-Luong and her team visited the Webster Fire Department and hosted the Webster
Police for their “lunch and learn,” which was sponsored by Delray Doc’s Fruit and Deli. Participants were given the opportunity to not only learn about the Homes for Heroes program, but also hear valuable insights from her about the real estate market and current trends. Hendrix was also on hand to answer questions about the mortgage process and even spoke with a couple of staff about important things to consider when buying their first property.
To end the afternoon, the team even had the opportunity to meet Murphy, the Webster Police Department’s newest (and very cute) member.
When the time comes to leverage your home equity for a new beginning, your real estate agent transforms into a navigator, guiding you through the maze of selling and buying. This includes pinpointing the perfect price to list your current abode, scouting out a dwelling that aligns with your changing needs, and demystifying what you can comfortably afford in the context of today’s mortgage rates. It’s like having a compass that not only points north but also reads the terrain, ensuring your journey to a new home is as smooth and informed as possible.
Considering downsizing involves reflecting on whether your current home still meets your needs or if a smaller place might be more suitable. Consider the reasons behind your original purchase, the necessity and desire for your current space, and your current housing expenses versus potential savings from downsizing. Consulting with a real estate agent can clarify your market options, help you understand your home’s equity, and strategize for a successful downsizing.
Looking to reduce expenses in retirement? Downsizing your home could be a smart move. If you’re considering this step, I’m here to discuss your housing market goals and how best to achieve them this year.
